Computers don't remember them, you have to do this; In /etc/openvpn, 1. edit the client.conf as follows; auth-user-pass /etc/openvpn/pass.txt 2. make pass.txt with; user-id password ※ Both are required for ipvanish-DE-Frankfurt-fra-c09.ovpn Now, openvpn will automatically load the user-id and password at startup.
