In Yast, in the system adminstrative options, the last selection in the sub menu is congiration file Go to that option and change the the telnet_root (or something like that, scroll the variables, near the end, after adding ./ to the root path) and set it to yes. -

over that option in yast. I also was interested in finding out which configuration file that option was written to. Thanks for the info all.
