[opensuse] Upgrade OpenSuSW KDE 4.3.1 to KDE 4.3.5
The URL http://www.freetechie.com/blog/installing-kde-4-3-5-on-opensuse-11-2/ has zypper command lines for upgrading KDE. WHat I would really like to do is install 4.3.5 separetly from 4.3.1 so that I can easily revert to the earlier version should there be a problem with 4.3.1 I know that it used to be possible to have two KDE versions on the same machine and switch back and forth. Thanks in advance. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

You can't. Packages only install to one specified location.
I know that it used to be possible to have two KDE versions on the same machine and switch back and forth.
Only when one of those versions was KDE3 and the other KDE4. -- Lubos Lunak openSUSE Boosters team, KDE developer l.lunak@suse.cz , l.lunak@kde.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
