well people i was actually impressed....that mandrake 7.0 iso i downloaded did what it said it would do it set up every single piece of hardware i had on my system including my hp 8210i burner.... i just burned my queen greatest hits cd with gnome toaster and another cd with xcdroast with no problems at all and i was multitasking while i was burning, and from my other cdrom i was listening to iron maiden ed hunter cd, while burning...now thats kool....... it even set up my voodoo 3 2000 16 mb pci at 32 bit 1280x1024 and all the opengl drivers...ect linux is linux no matter what distro you use, the foundation is all the same just that each distro gives you diffrent ways to install and techsupport ect...i hope people dont interperate this as me trying to start a flame war or anything...i figured i would spread the word alittle about how it automatically setup all my stuff, so that any newbies could possibly try it and see how it set up their hardware and then go back to suse and say this was setup this way in this distro and well lemme try this in this distro ...well what do you know it worked... ya get the idea... its like people saying i like xcdroast and others saying i like gcombust...well they both use cdrecord so go figure.. well i need sleep later peoples........ hey my motto is `` suse is juicy`` -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/

So, if mandrake is so good why do you have to come to SuSE and post on the best support mail list is Linux Land?
hey my motto is `` suse is juicy``
Ya, right. Guess what? I don't have to wait for RedHat to release another distro so Mandrake can spend even more time fixing the bugs RH was too lazy to fix. Been there, done that. That's why I went with SuSE. You are just another arrow sticking in the back of the SuSE. We have a motto out here in Nebraska, "You tell the pioneers by the arrows in their back". Go enjoy your Mandrake mail list and leave us alone. I it so bad to point out where other distributions are doing something better than SuSE? Isn't this the way improvements get made? I'm currently preparing an evaluation of SuSE6.3 to send to SuSE (feedback) that will indeed include the idea that more and more people have CDRs and so perhaps this should be detected for automatically by SuSE.
