Re: [S.u.S.E. Linux] Multiple drives with only 1 mount point
I'm a newbie, but I recently installed SuSE 5.2 on one drive. Using fdisk
and YaST I created partitions for /, /usr/ /opt, and /home as well as
swap. I set / below the 1024 cylinder barrier. As I am alos running
Debian and Red Hat and set up similar partitions with exception of /opt
and share the swap partition. I'm guessing, but I would think similar set
up across multiple drives would be called for; selecting the particular
parition for the respective dev.
Best regards,
Bob Russell

If it says "requires Win95 or better," install Linux!

How do I install everything (all packages) onto three hard disks using one mount point ( / ). I have not been able to figure this out. Thanks,
