[opensuse] libreoffice unstable (3.5.2) doesn't work after latest update
today, apart from another major update of KDE 4.8.2 packages (K:D:F), i received a whole bunch of libreoffice updates, from the LO unstable repo. libreoffice got upgraded to 3.5.2 a few days ago, and everything seemed to work just fine. after today's update, the libreoffice application window opens, but as soon as i try to open an existing document, or create a new one, it freezes. starting from the command line doesn't produce any output. the same thing happened to one forum user, so it's not only me. anybody else got LO 3.5.2, including the latest updates (today)? what's your experience? -- phani. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I wonder if it is related to the update of the KDE packages. What project have you got them from?

Yes, please open a bug for it and provide the following information: + used openSUSE version + used desktop (I guess that it is KDE) + where you get the major KDE update from + list of libreoffice packages; you might get it by the command: rpm -qa | grep libreoffice + please, verify the libreoffice packages: rpm -V `rpm -qa | grep libreoffice` + I wonder if it helps you to uninstall the package libreoffice-kde4 Best Regards, Petr -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

rpm -qa | grep libreoffice

as mentioned in the bug report, i'm using KDE 4.8.2 from KDE:/Distro:/Factory removing libreoffice-kde4 solves the problem for me, i.e., libreoffice works ok again. -- phani. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
