Hello! Has anyone got X-Win32 v5.4 to work with SuSE 8.2? I can't even get a login screen... I want to do a XDCMP connection to the server. Are there any special settings I need to change in SuSE besides setting DISPLAYMANAGER_REMOTE_ACCESS=yes in YaST2's /etc/sysconfig editor? Or any special settings in the X-Win32? If I do a 'netstat -apn' I get this: 'tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:6000 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 1663/X' so at least the server is listening for connections, still I can't get anything up in X-Win32 besides a grey screen. Nope, that's X. You want xdm, on port 177. Did you restart kdm after you changed the setting?
