[opensuse] Firefox Upgrade Dependency
I'm running 2.0.0.8 Firefox currently. Yesterday's updater tells me that 2.0.0.10 is now available. However when I attempt to install it, it says Can't satisfy requirement MozillaFirefox == 2.0.0.9-1.1 for MozillaFirefox-debuginfo-2.0.0.9-1.1.i586. I'm given the option to delete MozillaFirefox-debuginfo Ignore this requirement here Generally ignore this requirement I never got a 2.0.0.9 update, and I think someone mentioned here the other day that we were skipping that version and going straight to 2.0.0.10. You somehow installed Firefox 2.0.0.9, which we did not officialy provide. I think you can safely remove the MozillaFirefox-debuginfo-2.0.0.9-1.1 package and proceed to update to 2.0.0.10. I think you can safely remove the MozillaFirefox-debuginfo-2.0.0.9-1.1 package and proceed to update to 2.0.0.10.
Ciao, Marcus Hmm... I assumed I was 0.8, but you're right. My fuzzy grey matter is having trouble remember when/if I did an 0.9 upgrade, but apparently I did! :-) Goes to show you why documenting your systems is important!
