The above is from the Suse site and it shows an eval DVD iso. Is this the complete 9.3 Pro dist and can it be installed on the hard drive?

It's the complete 64 bit version and a "streamlined" 32 bit version. You can get the rest of the 32 bit version from the servers. Yes, you can use it to install SuSE 9.3 on a hard drive.
