Is there a similar program from linux as Admuncher for Windows? Basically it's a little utility that runs in your taskbar that will "eat" any types of advertisements in websites. Really nifty tool! You can have it set to say "munched" in place of ads or not display anything, which really clears up a lot of sites!!

google *is* your friend, but why use google when you can get someone else to do it for you? a quick search of google/linux 'squid ad block filter' yealds over 100 sites. I recommend running privoxy and squid in series - squid compensates for the slight performance hit that privoxy causes.
