Hi
I got ISDN working, so it connects to my ISP, when there's traffic for the Internet. That's GreAT! But!
It seems that there are some lost packets in the initiation, and while it's no big deal with HTML requests, it's a disaster for SMTP, and I never get qmail to deliver any mail.
Anybody know what's wrong and what to do to it?
Hello Kaare, yes, this is a known bug. The solution is descrobed in the German Support Data Base. Basicly it is a Kernal patch. I edited it from Hand, since direct patching did not work. I modified (Kernel 2.0.33) two files, one for the "lost" packet, the other to get proper OPEN messages (isdnctrl verbose 3) in my messages file. I must have a tar archive somewhere, since i've posted this a few times. The better solution is to use the up-to-date SuSE Kernel, this should include this and some other patches. If you want, I'll mail the archive. Just ask. ;-)) Jürgen ========================================== __ _ Jürgen Braukmann e-mail: brauki@cww.de | / / (_)__ __ ____ __ Tel: 0201-743648 dk4jb@db0qs.#nrw.deu.eu | / /__/ / _ \/ // /\ \/ / ========================================== /____/_/_//_/\_,_/ /_/\_\ -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
