[opensuse] Format Factory on Linux
Hey guys, I was used to manage different audio and video formats on my older Windows PC using Format Factory. This worked out quite well in high quality. Does anyone of you know an alternative to Format Factory which is available under Linux? The program should especially be able to cope with .wav, .mp3, .mp4, ... I've had some success with mencoder (it's part of Mplayer). It's command line only, and quite a steep learning curve as there are so many options. I've used it mainly for converting video files, so I'm not experienced with its audio conversion capabilities. You may want to consider HandBrake http://handbrake.fr/ at least for video. I use it to convert stuff to play on my Android devices. Works well. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
