I had mail with the YaST partitionner devs (on an other subject) and I learned there that YaST is logging all it's commands and uses parted directly. You can see the result searching for /usr/sbin/parted in /var/log/Yast2/ an example (all on one line): y2log-7:2009-02-08 08:51:47 <1> linux(3303) [libstorage] SystemCmd.cc(execute):85 SystemCmd Executing:"/usr/sbin/parted -s '/dev/sda' unit cyl mkpart logical ext2 15929 60800" So, eventually, you can find there error messages if any jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://valerie.dodin.org http://news.opensuse.org/2009/04/13/people-of-opensuse-jean-daniel-dodin/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
