[opensuse] yast2 - Can't create CA Cert: LIMAL::Exception=HASH(0x31f1a60)
All, I'm experimenting with a openSUSE 12.2 image on AWS (Amazon Web Services). I've got ssh access to my instance and I've used zypper to install yast2-mail. That brought in lots of dependencies, but only 100MB or so of rpms. I started up yast from the command line and selected to create a mail server. I went with the advanced option so I could use postfix, not sendmail. It recommended I create a root CA. I went for it, but when I got to the "Create" phase, it fails with "LIMAL::Exception=HASH(0x31f1a60)". I assume I need another package or 10 for it to work. Note, this was an extremely minimal install that I got from: http://blog.susestudio.com/2012/10/public-opensuse-122-amazon-ec2-amis.html fyi: I'm using a micro image, so it might even be free! I've seen comments that Amazon charges because they think its based on SLES :( ). The pricing might only be $0.03/hr even then, but the AWS pricing schemes are extremely complex. This is for just the "base" pricing before you start using the disks etc. http://aws.amazon.com/suse/ Greg -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

A bug is a bug, but unless you want to issue your own certificates and use TLS, there is no need for a root CA. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (12.5°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - free DNS hosting, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I know it's overkill, but it was recommended. I'll open a bugzilla and maybe get back to this in a day or two. Greg -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
