Hi, On SuSE 9.2, kernel 2.6.8-24.13 - i have failed to compile Cisco VPN Client 4.0. Errors are listed below, but summary is: Failed to make module "cisco_ipsec". I have googled and found people with similar problems, but no answers to them. has anyone got this to work? Many people attributed this lack of kernel sources, but i have the rpm installed on my system. And what does Cisco have to say about this? Did you do a make prepare before you tried to compile this? make prepare does do a little more setup for compiling modules. I just googled and found a post by myself and others where we were having problems with 4.0.3B back in Jan. 2004. http://www.ussg.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0401.3/1228.html It also seems the latest client is 4.6, http://www.cisco.com and search on "linux vpn". Having retired, I no longer have access to any corporate network or the cisco vpn client software.
