I thought that the popt that is native to SUSE9 included that piece.

Had trouble installing this at first, downloaded the .rpm from http://www.boardfreunde.de/home/zimmermann/download/etherape-0.8.2-1.i386.rp... now everything works fine. Must say that I regulary update my system with apt. Stanley --

I just installed it from source, and it's running OK on SuSE Pro v9.0. I had to install about two dozen packages (glade, gnomeui, etc.), but it was happy with the previously-installed popt-1.7-70.
