I downloaded the mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu-0.9.tar.gz release of Mozilla but when I run it the binary just gives a segmentation fault. Any ideas? Jonathan Riddell

Yep, save your address book if you use it for mail and your bookmarks file...then rm the .mozilla directory in your home directory. Don't use any of the skins for 0.8.X because they made 0.9 crash on me..bad. Having done the above..it has run very strong and good for me the last couple days. * Jonathan Riddell (jr050@jriddell.org) [010510 12:13]: -> ->I downloaded the mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu-0.9.tar.gz ->release of Mozilla but when I run it the binary just gives a segmentation ->fault. -> ->Any ideas? -> ->Jonathan Riddell -> -> ->-- ->To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com ->For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com ->Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq and the ->archives at http://lists.suse.com -> -- Ben Rosenberg mailto:ben@whack.org ----- If two men agree on everything, you can be sure that only one of them is doing the thinking.

Ah hah! Now if only I could sort out the same problem under MacOS which doesn't have .mozilla directories I'd be happy. Thanks Jonathan Riddell

Do the same to your preferences under MacOS and I believe it should work nicely. -- Ben Rosenberg mailto:ben@whack.org ----- If two men agree on everything, you can be sure that only one of them is doing the thinking.

It seems to not like any imported themes. Delete the "chrome" directory in your ~/.mozilla/<wibble> and it'll be fine. I hope they fix the themes problem though. Apart from that 0.9 seems to be a lot more solid and faster than previous versions. -- Rachel
