New mailer, and I dont see the original, but here goes. Thanks to Ken for the response. Linksys router 80211b. 9.0 on 2 pc's & the Toshiba Satelite 4030cdt. The only one with internet access probs is the laptop as described. It might be relevant that there HAS been a wireless Linksys card plugged in from time to time and recognized by that "--ctrl" ?? command as I tried to make some sense out of that. What command results or file info can I send info about , etc?? Thanks John
