Stopping Multiple OOo_1.1.1 Scripts?
I ran the OOo 1.1.1 install app and now have a runaway cycle of scripts running on my notebook. I can get to a terminal and need to know how to kill these scripts. Thanks! doc

I ran pstree to find the processes & killall and the process so the problem s solved for the moment but I am expecting it to start again when I reboot. What I do not know is why OO 1.1.1 started this process (as many as 80+ copies of the script tried to execute!). I also do not know how to find the problem and to stop it. I have a second unrelated problem to resolve that I have been ignoring. An xset bad font path element #64 error. It causes the startup of kde to stall and I must manually execute kde in the terminal window. -- Thanks! & 73, doc kd4e West Central Florida Op. Atlas, Drake, Hallicrafters, TenTec ... p.s.
