[opensuse] Firefox crash with segfault
Hello, we have often Firefox (Version 4.0 or 3.5.16) crashes on OpenSuSE 11.2, while we have our Groupware System (Open-Xchange) and a java applet on another tab open. The firefox crashes with error message: :~> firefox Gtk-Message: (for origin information, set GTK_DEBUG): failed to retrieve property `GtkTreeView::odd-row-color' of type `GdkColor' from rc file value "((GString*) 0xb0ea1600)" of type `GString' *** nss-shared-helper: Shared database disabled (set NSS_USE_SHARED_DB to enable). /usr/bin/firefox: Zeile 137: 11722 Speicherzugriffsfehler $MOZ_PROGRAM "$@" The backtrace of this error is: #0 0xffffe424 in __kernel_vsyscall () #1 0xb7e9d1a8 in send () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 #2 0xb77af188 in ?? The backtrace is not really useful without debug symbols. Could you please try to get a better trace using the information on: http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Bugreport_Mozilla If the crash happens in mozilla code the best would be to get the crashreport which should be created by Firefox itself and sent to mozilla.org. (Your latest backtrace happened in mozilla code). You can also install all the debuginfo packages as described on the above page to get a better stacktrace.
