the the supertrak sx6000 is an ide controler for up to six ide-hdd and promise integrates this as a scasi device. I run Suse 8.1 with this controler having a raid 5 there and three 120 GB drives --> raid5 of 240 GB Yes, my future configuration will be 6 HDD IDE 250Go on raid5 with supertrak sx6000 with SuSE 8.2 (if it's work with this version)

bootlog shows you a scsi-disk id at boot up Ok, thx

it works in 8.1 perfect TOP, cool that's work fine with 8.1 :)
