Ken, I checked the /etc/resolve.conf file. The name server line is set to the new DNS server and the name search line has also been updated to follow the settings I made in YAST. I've not configured a DNS server with LINUX and I'll research doing that to see if it improves the situation. Thanks for your reply. Check /etc/resolv.conf and make sure the nameserver line points to your DNS server. I suspect that it is still pointing to the old server address. Or even better yet, set up a linux box as your DNS server and eliminate problems all around.
