[opensuse] Thunderbird forgetting remote content preferences
This might be an upstream bug but perhaps others here can confirm if they've seen the same. Not sure when it started but it might have coincided with my recent update to TB 52.8.0ESR in the official Leap 42.3 updates a few days ago. I don't allow remote content in messages by default. But there's a bunch of things I get regularly where at some point in the past I have clicked the Preferences above the message and opted to explicitly allow remote content from whatever domain or address. You mean that you have gone Preferences>Privacy>Mail Content and put in the correct parameters but these are ignored every time you shut down Thunderbird? I've tested adding the url's to the exceptions list directly in the Preferences panel, and also using the 'Allow remote content for ...' option that T'bird displays with the message. The exceptions stay in the list as long as T'bird is running, but are gone after T'bird is closed. I suspect that the list isn't being written to prefs.js at all.
