Re: [opensuse] 11.0 and new behavior of kdesu [SOLVED]

It is driving me crazy too, but it isn't limited to 11.0. I have 3 10.3 machines, all worked perfectly with sudo, never a password prompt for yast or kde control center administrative mode, etc. Now for some strange reason 2 out of 3 are pestering me for a password. Nothing changed but updates.
I posted about this behavior recently, but I don't believe I ever received an answer.
David, I have posted [SOLVED] message, but looks like I have messed the threading, and it did not apear in the right thread. Anyway, here is the solution I found (works for me in 11.0) : For others which may need this, I found a solution in comment #2 in this bug case: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=400903#c2 Cheers -- Svetoslav Milenov (Sunny) Even the most advanced equipment in the hands of the ignorant is just a pile of scrap. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

It's a know bug/feature of gmail's webmail, that if you change the subject line, you also start a new thread automatically. It's an automatic anti-hijack countermeasure :-P - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
