Hi Erik After some googling I could find the following: 1. Run "bash NVIDIA-Linux-x86-<version>.run -x" to extract the source. 2. Change to NVIDIA-Linux-x86-<version>/usr/src/nv/ 3. Add *"/unsigned int __VMALLOC_RESERVE = 128 << 20;/" *without the double quotes to nv.c just after the includes. 4. Run /*NVIDIA-Linux-x86-<version>*///*nvidia-installer */Let us know if it works! /* */Thanks Gowrishankar Rajaiyan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Hi Erik Seems you have hit https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=209798 & unfortunately for this device you need to use the manual installation using the NVIDIA driver installer. Hi Erik this looks like a killed off Nvidia driver module my fix would be down to text terminal screen login init3 then re-run the Nvidia install you downloaded from the Nvidia site then init 5 should be back up and running if you have used the yast method of installing your Nvidia driver you are on your own i have tried and never will use that method again the times i have tried it it was a total failure Pete . -- SuSE Linux 10.3-Alpha3.
