That's because kxsrun seems to search for the xscreensavers at the wrong places. I straced this down like this:
strace -f kxsrun atlantis 2>&1 |grep atlantis </snip>
What directory do I put the symlinks in? /usr/X11R6/lib/xscreensaver/ and /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xscreensaver/config/ or do I have it backwards?
