Picked up a Broadxent (Creative Labs) V.92 PCI Fax/Modem DI 3631 at Best Buy today ($19.99 after $10. mail-in rebate). Now the challenge is how to coax SuSE 8.0 into talking to it! I have tried YAST to no avail. Using AutoUpdate in hopes of something new at SuSE isn't an option because I have no Linux-friendly modem. Must I head out again, this time to WalMart, to acquire a known Linux-friendly ModemBlaster External DE5265 from Wal-Mart for $35. as recommended by "Phantasm"? Suggestions, please? Thanks! doc
