[opensuse] More 11.0 Repo Package Errors: ..rpm not found on medium ..
Listmates, Peter, Looks like their may be more mirror problems. Just a few minutes ago, I was updating and received the following ...rpm not found on medium 'http://ftp.skynet.be/pub/packman/suse/11.0/'. May just be package propagation problems. Somehow, zypper/yast needs to be fixed to not list packages it can't retrieve when doing updates. I'll run zypper again after the update and see if the packages that can't be found magically appear. The errors and packages were: Retrieving package libgstinterfaces-0_10-0-0.10.23-42.pm.42.2.x86_64 (40/255), 233.0 KiB (771.0 KiB unpacked) Retrieving: libgstinterfaces-0_10-0-0.10.23-42.pm.42.2.x86_64.rpm [error] File './x86_64/libgstinterfaces-0_10-0-0.10.23-42.pm.42.2.x86_64.rpm' not found on medium 'http://ftp.skynet.be/pub/packman/suse/11.0/' Abort, retry, ignore? This package is available with a higher version number. According to the timestamp it was updated several hours ago. Did you disable autorefresh on your repositories? If you did, you have to remember to run "zypper refresh" before doing an update, otherwise you won't see the changes Anders -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Autorefesh was enabled, Looks like it was just a latency issue. Evidently the package was updated on the mirror between the time I did the zypper up and the time the actual download got to that package. (with 500M updates, it does take a while to get through all the package ;-) As soon as the update completed, I simply did zypper up again and it pulled in the newer packages. Thanks. -- David C. After two minutes, I realized that That's a Packman repository. Not much that I can do about it. Please talk to them. Peter -- "WARNING: This bug is visible to non-employees. Please be respectful!" SUSE LINUX Products GmbH Research & Development
