Hi all, What is a good program to monitor system, and CPU temps? I read on the list that gkrellm did this. I have it running but it does not show temps, only CPU load, hd load, ethernet load etc. Many thanks, Jim Flanagan

Did you configure the sensors? Try running "sensors-detect" as root, and when it's done it will tell you what you need to do (assuming your chipset is supported). Once the proper modules are loaded, the next time you run gkrellm you will see your temperatures etc.

What other programs than gkrellm will use this data so that I can view it? -- Bob Rea mailto:gapetard@stsams.org http://www.petard.us http://www.petard.us/blog http://www.petard.us/gallery Time is the best teacher. Unfortunately it kills all its students.
