      Hello everybody,

I have received following anser:

you can set it in yast,  ->system administration -> login configuration set to ASCII
or just edit /etc/inittab where it says default runlevel, change the 3 to 2 in suse. be warned that if you run SuSEconfig it could undo that again.
otherwise edir /etc/rc.config and then run SuSEconfig
