[opensuse] Anyone knows sync rates for eee-pc 901?
Hi, I upgraded 11.1 i586 to 11.1 factory KDE4.2 just now, (was again possible.) but don't have an X anymore.. Sax2 seems not be able to save the right config it has found... If i kow the H and V sync frequencies, i can try to set them up myself... Thanx.. ;) -- Enjoy your time around, Oddball (M9.) (Now or never...) OS: Linux 2.6.29-rc8-5-default x86_64 Huidige gebruiker: oddball@AMD64x2-sfn1 Systeem: openSUSE 11.2 Alpha 0 (x86_64) KDE: 4.2.1 (KDE 4.2.1) "release 1" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Try as root from virtual terminal (CTRL-ALT-F2): init 3 X -configure it will create 'xorg.conf.new' in root's home. To test this: X -config xorg.conf.new it will show you default Xorg background. If that fits in your screen and looks good, stop X with CTRL-ALT-BACKSPACE, copy xorg.conf.new to /etc/X11/xorg.conf and start GUI with init 5 Problems: copy and paste /etc/X11/xorg.conf to http://pastebin.ca and we can debug thing to working configuration. Communication can go over #opensuse channel on freenode.org. -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
