[opensuse] Unreachable IPv6 subnet
On my firewall, I use IPv6, via a 6in4 tunnel. I recently rebuilt the firewall using openSUSE 11.3. When I use the ip -6 route command, I get the following two lines included: 2001:5c0:xxxx:yyyy::/64 dev eth2 proto kernel metric 256 mtu 1500 advmss 1440 hoplimit 0 unreachable 2001:5c0:xxxx:yyyy::/56 dev lo metric 1 error -101 mtu 16436 advmss 16376 hoplimit 0 For some reason, it's unable to route to eth2. IPv6 forwarding is enabled. If I ping6 ipv6.google.com from a computer on the local network, I can see the pings going out, and the replies reaching the firewall, but they don't go any further. The 6in4 tunnel is sit1 I have seen this problem before (when using 11.0 for my firewall), but I haven't been able to nail down a cause or fix. Pinging ipv6.google.com from the firewall works fine. Has anyone else seen this? Any ideas? tnx jk -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
