Hello All, I just upgraded my SUSE 4.4 to SUSE5.1, after the installation, I logout as root and login again as user. Login as user is no problem but when I try to get into windonmanager using "startx", I got this error message and the windowmanager never get started: _X11 TransSocket UNIXConnect: Can't connect: erno = 111 XView error: Cannot open connection to window server: :0(server package) Any suggestions to this error? Also, while I was trying to install SUSE5.1, I receive several warming about the disk partition useable memory drops below 5%. I have two hard disks for my Linux OS, a 425 MB (13.5ms seeking time) and 2.7GB (11 ms seeking time). I partition them into /, /var, /usr, /home, and /swap drives, is there a rule of thumb for the sizes of these partitions? Any help or comments is highly appreciated. Thanks.
