What is the purpose of overburn? Why do it? I have never heard of it before. Please explain in plain English for us.

Overburning is used to fit more on a disk than would otherwise be possible, cdrecord will otherwise refuse to put a 700MB iso image on a 650MB cd. Possibly not recommended by manufacturer.. ;-) Joost
