Hi, I am running Suse 9 and want to do bonding. We have dual nic's and want to use them for failover. Would anyone have any samples, instructions or know of any sites that may help. I can't seem to find information on this. The kernel I am running is 2.6.5-7.147-bigsmp. Thanks Dana Jaeger Hartford Hospital jaeger@harthosp.org

Dana, I'm not entirely sure how to do it, but you might want to look through the HOWTOs that came with SUSE - there are a couple that concerns setting up a bridge. Although that's not exactly what you're after, they do contain information on bonding two network cards, and useful links. -- Kind regards Hans du Plooy SagacIT (Pty) Ltd hansdp at sagacit dot com
