Despite this situation, an official decision has been taken to announce the linux as "National Operating System" a few years ago. Following this decision, A collegiate group was chosen to make a version of linux able to meet all the needs at the time, especially "Farsi" typing and fonts. Just a few days ago, I read in newspaper that the live-cd version of "Farlix" - i.e. a Farsi Linux - was came to the market. Inside that article was: "... It runs all windows programs and games". Even though I have not used it yet, I hope it would change the current ratio of %99.9 Window/Linux users: That is what MS is afraid of. Note that the profit is not the only important factor for Microsoft; The more important concern which has also the profit as a consequence is *prevalence and predominance* of Windows in the PC world.
