Hi Team
Please excuse me as I am a newbie. Can someone explain to me, or give me a pointer to an explanation of the question: "What is glibc2.0?"
I expect the question I am asking is very basic, not the sort of thing this list need to be cluttered with, some pointers to the answers that a dumb might ask, would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Hi,
better a late reply than none :)

I thought SuSE 6.1 was based on glibc2???
Yes, but glibc2.0, not glibc2.1. You may need another RPM. SuSE 6.2 will be based on glibc2.1.
Bye, LenZ
