[opensuse] Is it me -- or can you really not get to https://www.php.net in firefox?
All, This seems like a dumb question, but I can't get to the manual at https://www.php.net in Firefox on 42.3 -- it says: Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to www.php.net. The OCSP response contains out-of-date information. Error code: SEC_ERROR_OCSP_OLD_RESPONSE The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. (so we contact the website owners at a website we can't access to report the problem with the website??) -- David C. Is your FF latest, or is it ESR, and which? I've seen authenticity errors like yours at various sites in recent weeks. Sometimes switching to a different browser works, but not always. Sorry, It's the latest from update, $ rq MozillaFirefox MozillaFirefox-60.6.2-138.1.x86_64 What is strange is it doesn't give me any way to get there. I'm at 60.6.2esr and the site works for me, so it is not the updates. Perhaps the site repaired the problem between your tests. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.0 x86_64 at Telcontar)

Something strange was amiss. Of course once it updated to 60.6.3esr I checked Mozilla ftp and 60.7.0esr is now current... sheesh... I guess 60.6.3 quits working next week :) -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.

The original problem (OCSP reply) might have been just a network hickup somewhere FWIW. Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I think Marcus probably hit it. The site had a 10 - 15 minute hiccup that resulted in the error: An error occurred during a connection to www.php.net. The OCSP response contains out-of-date information. Error code: SEC_ERROR_OCSP_OLD_RESPONSE Which, at least we know Murphy's Law still works, because that just happened to correspond to the time I needed to get to the manual. By the time my update finished -- the site was fine. -- David C.
