SuSE 9.0 on local server
Updated kernel on server and now I am getting the following error when receiving mail:
Mar 25 15:39:19 pc1 postfix/smtp[6085]: connect to localhost[127.0.0.1]: Connection refused (port 10024) Mar 25 15:39:19 pc1 postfix/smtp[6085]: 4137DC4BECE: to=<suse-list@bout-tyme.net>, relay=none, delay=1, status=deferred (connect to localhost[127.0.0.1]: Connection refused)
Looks like amavisd-new isn't running anymore.
Mail was working fine before the kernel update.
Are you sure init(8) starts all the right services? Theo -- Theo v. Werkhoven Registered Linux user# 99872 http://counter.li.org ICBM 52 13 26N , 4 29 47E. + ICQ: 277217131 SUSE 9.2 + Jabber: muadib@jabber.xs4all.nl Kernel 2.6.8 + See headers for PGP/GPG info.
