one question:- Are there settings in the card which I may need to change? If so how do I do this? if not got dos on my Linux box (it's a single OS box) just Linux SuSe 6.2

Those NICs come with a setup program on a DOS utility disk. If you have a bootable DOS disk then you can switch to the utility program and check both of your cards out and change them so they aren't setting on the same IRQ and base address. If you need a bootable DOS diskette let me know and I will email your a 1.44MB image that can be written (not copied) to the floppy to create one. Jerry
