Hi All, i am trying to setup squid with pam authentication.I want basic http authentication with squid i have setup squid for basic authentication to use pam_auth.When the client wants to browse the net he gets the username/passwd prompt but does not authenticate. I am not sure how pam works do u need to add a username/passwd to pam asin smb? Can someone please help me in understanding how pam works and how to solve my problem with squid, thanks?
