-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 On the list, during all the discussion around updates to X-4.3 and the fonts cache problems, someone posted a command to rebuild the fonts cache. I can't remember it and was hoping that someone might be able to tell me the command and perhaps some other options for the command and/or dealing with the fonts and the cache. I updated to kde-3.1.1 and am having the problem with the screen going wacky/unlegible and then a spontaneous re init back into the kdm login screen. This happened right after I updated X to 4.3 and using kde 3.0.5. I had solved this problem, but now that I have kde 3.1.1 installed it has returned. I am running XF-4.3, KDE 3.1.1, on 8.1. TIA, Curtis. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+hIS77WVLiDrqeksRAr/DAJ9X2yNYDiNbUZldVS38pjM4KXlJvACfc90H CF6j/jCKx4OmSqSnXKLJfcY= =q0Rj -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

font-config -f
Charles
Thanks, Charles. On thing to note though, running font-config -f didn't work, but running fonts-config -f did... Seems you may have forgotten the "s" - lol. But, hopefully this will solve the problem, thanks again. Cheers, Curtis. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+hIpp7WVLiDrqeksRAo2LAKCu7GOYTx/N652vkrx/XxvFI7CbTwCgrQNi 74FRKK2fDrfjwMYmFYwk3OY= =pJtT -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
