How do I backup evolution 1.2.4?
I am going to take the plunge and try 1.4. Can I backup all my current folders and settings in such a way that if 1.4 acts badly (like it does at home) that I can restore 1.2.4? If so, which folders should I back up? Thanks, Tom -- Tom Nielsen Neuro Logic Systems 805.389.5435 x18 www.neuro-logic.com

No need to do that. I just went from 1.4 back to 1.3.92 because of some issues, without a hitch. Just uninstall 1.4 first, which will not touch the files in you home dir. Ken

In your home directory just backup the evolution folder. Under the file tab there's a importer to import data and settings from older programs. You also have the option to import single files from other mailers. On the safe side make a copy of your old evolution home directory. I find Evolution 1.4 to be a very nice mail/pim interface. John
