Someone was looking for a Linux Tucols site a few weeks back. I saved the Mailing List email for about a week and my system deleted it on me (my fault for setting up such automation in XFmail). Anyway, I knew I heard of the existence of such a site and I finally found where I had scribbled it down: <A HREF="http://members.xoom.com/tucols</A">http://members.xoom.com/tucols</A> ---------------------------------- Arlen Carlson adcarlso@visinet.ca We really don't have any enemies. I never heard of tucols.....but I have heard of "Tucows" which is the software site. Tucows will only let reliable sites mirror their stuff...so it is very unlikely that any of their stuff will ever be on a xoom web site. :-) Rick - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A>

tucols is a parody of the tucows name.
Just the same, I think Freshmeat.net does a nice job of linking available software and is updated several times daily. I fail to see the need for this type of site. Yes and I have spoken to the pres. of TUCOWS personally, and they will have a Linux app site ASAP. -Dee - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A>

Rick- Think of tucols as a slight play on words or a rather nice linux applications site that was alive before. I dont think there is any affiliation between tucols and the two cows (heh) site. -- Michael E.
