Silly question, but what was the significants of the 12th being the release date? Was there something that set the 12th apart, was it because it's a Monday? If you've gotten this far, remember, I did say it was silly question :) -- S.Toms - tomas@primenet.com - www.primenet.com/~tomas SuSE Linux v7.0+ - Kernel 2.2.18 Numeric stability is probably not all that important when you're guessing.

You have to press CDs, you have to print books and boxes, and after this is finished we ship them to our resellers and customers. Now you have the date when you can sell the boxes. It is incredibly powerful, gives terse, cryptic answers and has a lot of things going on in the background.

Which leads to the next question, when do we (US customers) get 7.1 in the shelves? April, after customs clearing? Thanks, Alvaro Novo SuSE 6.4 -=- Kernel 2.4.0 -=- KDE 2.1.0-Beta1-0 1:18pm up 3 days, 22:59, 2 users, load average: 0.09, 0.05, 0.01
It is usually 2-3 weeks after Europe. It depends on how much U.S. customs screws us around. Nothing we can do about that though. * Álvaro A. Hey, maybe I should buy from Europe? Will amazon.co.uk have it? I could always get my brother to get it for me and then ship it over. Any difference between the US version and the UK version? Or is just in the spelling :-). Matt On Fri, 26 Jan 2001, Ben Rosenberg wrote:

Well. Ya know. I don't know the answer to that. You would prolly get a better answer to that from LenZ. ;) * Samy Elashmawy (samelash@ix.netcom.com) [010127 08:40]: =>At 11:24 AM 1/26/2001 -0800, Ben Rosenberg wrote: =>>It is usually 2-3 weeks after Europe. It might sound funny, but AFAIK it is still cheaper to print the books here in Germany and ship them over than printing them in the US...
