I want to enable the joystick that's connected to my sound card. In /var/log/messages I see a kernel message that my sound card is recognized as an es1370 (sound works) but the next line says "es1370: features: joystick off, line in, mic impedance 0". The es1370 is compiled inline not as a module. The joystick driver doc's say that I have to enable the joystick via the sound card and I can't find any way to do this!!! Gerry
The procedure is in one of the books, that's if you didn't install from an image copy dl'ed online. I've followed it and it will work. Take a look and give it a try, if you run into problems write back. Cheers. Curtis On Friday 01 June 2001 08:12 am, Gerry Doris wrote:
