we have a dumpy ol' Compaq PII266 running SuSE 7.2 minimal install with SuSEFirewall. It web/ftp/ssh masqerades an internal Win/Mac network of about a dozen computers from behind the firewall. I want to place a webserver behind this firewall and have it accessed from the general world. How easy is this? Is there any advantage in having a third ethernet card in the firewall machine going straight to the webserver? Any other ideas? thanks! __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Find a job, post your resume. http://careers.yahoo.com

Am I up the wrong tree? Should I investigate Squid? Could it both act as a masq and also forward to the web server with an internal address? I have on valid on the internet IP address, numerical with no name mapped to it. That's fine for what I'm doing. Thanks, __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
