Hello ! Before all of my roundtrips within the adsl setting up of a modem, I had my filesystem ext2. Now I mounted it reiserfs. No big problem apart from a kernel panic resolved via the SuSE documentation on the web. But now, if i try to mount a cd, i am required to give the filesystem data. Thisdidn't occur before and in my fstab /dev/hdc is referenced with "auto" A tip ? Tks in advance Jacek

A tip ?
Put 'iso9660' as type for cdrom in /ets/fstab? -- $|=1;while(1){print pack("h*",'75861647f302d4560275f6272797f3');sleep(1); for(1..16){for(8,32,8,7){print chr($_);}select(undef,undef,undef,.05);}}
Tks the care. In fact I found it was due to the kernel configuration I set up in source. some ide-scsi related module/emulation. Now my cdrom is /dev/sr0 instead of /dev/hdc Rgds
