[opensuse] Is there a updated list of HCL for SATA optical drives
This only goes to 11.2............ http://en.opensuse.org/HCL:Optical -- Duaine Hechler Piano, Player Piano, Pump Organ - Tuning, Servicing & Rebuilding (314) 838-5587 / dahechler@att.net / www.hechlerpianoandorgan.com Home & Business user of Linux - 12 years -- Duaine Hechler Piano, Player Piano, Pump Organ - Tuning, Servicing & Rebuilding (314) 838-5587 / dahechler@att.net / www.hechlerpianoandorgan.com Home & Business user of Linux - 12 years -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Which probably means that an HCL for SATA optical drives would be superfluous. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (9.5°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - free DNS hosting, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

The HCL being superfluous = they all work. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (9.2°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - free DNS hosting, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

The HCL being superfluous = they all work. I'm a little confused. So, it does not matter what Brand or Model, I get they are all going to function correctly (No hidden gotchas - like D/L will not burn, etc)

Well, that's my guess - the HCL is probably outdated because all hardware worksk. An HCL is only interesting when hardware support is patchy. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (9.4°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - free DNS hosting, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
