Hello, I use LVM2 with a VG DATA. In this VG are 3 PV configured. In the VG is one LV configured. Is it possible, to find out on which physical volume a file is located? Thanks Meike -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I don't think so, in general. Is it even a meaningful question? i.e. does a file always reside entirely in one PV? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
